Ask any creative agency and they will likely agree the hardest brief is the one you set for your own identity. And for Grid, the changes in our creative and business direction over the last 28 years have gained sufficient momentum compel an update to our brand and logo, which has stood unchanged since 2005. A total of six designers and art directors took on the challenge, along with copy team to create a new identity for Grid that would communicate a sense of fresh vision and also a sense of how we bring great ideas to fruition. The winning design is presented here covers the creative journey from conceptual development, through design iteration, refinement and application. We believe it captures the renewed spirit of Grid and carries forward subtle reminders of our history even as Grid continues to evolve and grow.
